Snow Camp 2012

Wednesday, November 30th, 2011

Hey everyone,

You are NOT going to want to miss this year’s three-day, two-night road trip to Covenant Pines!

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Registrations are  due on December 18. Why not ask for an early Christmas present? Pick up a Registration Form on Tuesday night or shoot Tim Anderson an email and he’ll send you one.

HOW DO I GET THERE (AND BACK)?

We will meet at ECC’s new HQ at 6:00 pm on Friday, January 6. Check in at the main desk. We’ll return to the same spot on Sunday, January 8 between 4:30 and 6:00 pm.

Our new HQ is located in an office park at 513 Tanglewood Drive in Shoreview (just north of Kozlak’s).

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Bible and pen. Warm inside and outside clothes. Sleeping bag and pillow. Personal care stuff. Money for a snacks (CPBC has their own Coffee Shop). Extra food and pop is OK to bring as long as it doesn’t become a problem. If you’re worried about it getting dirty, broken or stolen – please leave it at home!

WHAT SHOULD I NOT BRING?

Please leave your iPod and other electronics @ home. If you bring your cell phone – know that it will only be OK to use for emergencies (FYI – a really strong desire to text your friends does NOT count as an emergency).

WHAT IF THERE IS A REAL EMERGENCY?

Your parents can call us at Covenant Pines 218-768-2610.

Shadowland Returns – October 26

Thursday, September 30th, 2010

Remember those great neighborhood night games?

Imagine having an entire camp instead of three backyards!

Join us on Tuesday, October 26 for the ultimate in chase-and-get-chased-after-dark-awesomeness.

There’s no cost and no advance registration.  All you need to do is show up at Gospel Hills Camp at 7:00 dressed to ditch, run and ambush.

See you there!  Invite your friends…

Dude, where’s my youth group?

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

ECC Teen closed out our 2009/2010 season with an indoor campfire in May.

We’re re-loading this summer and we’ll kick-off our 2010/2011 season in September.

Until then, you can find us every Sunday morning at the Shoreview Community Center.

Feel free to click around our site to learn more about Summer Camp and some of the other opportunities we’re offering during June, July and August.

Capture the Chickens!

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

Capture the Chickens made it’s debut @ Gospel Hills on Tuesday, March 23.

If you’ve never played Capture the Chickens before, think paintball capture the flags – only with Nerf stuff instead of paintball markers and rubber chickens instead of flags.

We had a ton of fun!  You won’t want to miss our next game on Tuesday, April 27 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm.

It’s a blast – bring a friend (or two, or three, or four).

Lent @ ECC Teen

Friday, February 19th, 2010

lent-altar1Lent is a season on the Christian Calendar where we press even deeper into God.

This Lent, we invite you to join us for our “Living Sacrifice” series.

We’ll look at ancient practices like fasting from food and more modern spiritual disciplines like fasting from media.

We hope you can make it!
